Our Mission &
Purpose.
Cyv8 was founded on a single premise: that traditional cyber risk management cannot meet the complexity of the next decade of risk.
We act as the bridge between the frontier of cyber resilience, and the businesses that need it most. Our purpose is to transform cyber from a costly burden into a well understood strategic advantage that protects businesses, customers, and communities as a whole.
We believe in building digital trust to make the world a safer place.
Our Principles.
Trust & Transparency
We speak the truth about risk, even when it’s uncomfortable. No jargon, no hidden agendas, just clarity.
Collective Strength
We believe we are stronger together. By strengthening your business, we also help to create a more resilient world for everyone.
Respect
We are here to support your mission, your people, and your growth. Our commitment is to deliver measurable and lasting value.
Continuous Learning
Frontier risks don’t stand still. Neither do we. We continually develop our knowledge and understanding, and share it with you freely.
Ian Kayne
Founder & Strategic Lead
With three decades of experience navigating the cyber frontier, Ian founded Cyv8 to move organisations from reactive commodity security towards engineered cyber resilience, where cyber is a measured platform for business growth and digital trust. He believes that Cyber Resilience is more than a commercial requirement; it's a fundamental duty of care to staff members, customers, and communities, who rely on the institutions they trust to keep the digital world safe.
A Board Advisor, CISO, and cyber resilience specialist, Ian has directed strategy and complex transformation for global enterprises and public sector institutions. He now focuses on helping organisations bridge the gap between frontier cyber complexity and quantifiable risk reduction.
